The Steel Structures Team is involved in research on up-to-date topics in the field of steel structures. The following can be mentioned among these:
• behaviour of steel structures subjected to seismic actions;
• stability problems of structural steel members;
• behaviour and numerical modelling of connections for steel structures;
• behaviour and numerical modelling of plated structures;
• thin-walled cold-formed shapes structures;
• wind action effects on steel structures;
• reticular structures;
• behaviour of aluminium alloy structural members;
